How it happened

The Falcons took the first set after jumping on the scoreboard first. The Pack stayed within two points, but the Falcons closed the set 25-20.

The Pack did not let the Falcons keep the momentum and started the set ahead. Air Force tied the game at the 4-4 mark. Nevada kept the control by evening the match 1-1 after a 25-12 score on the set.

In the third, the Nevada team kept the momentum going, especially in the offense. The Pack opened a 4-point lead, but the Falcons were not able to catch up as they forced the staff to call a timeout at the 8-4 mark. Air Force made a comeback but not enough to reverse the score, and Nevada closed the set 25-22.

The Pack started the set ahead, as they opened a 7-2 lead that caused Air Force to call a timeout. The Falcons were able to tie the game 11-11, which balanced out the set until the 21-21 mark. A sequence of a service ace and kill by McLaughlin stretched the lead for the Pack. McLaughlin's momentum was carried by Sia Liilii that closed the set 25-22 and the match 3-1 with a kill.
