RENO, Nev. – Nevada Homecoming festivities have been announced surrounding Oct. 22's 7:30 p.m. football contest against San Diego State presented by Renown Health. The Homecoming theme this year is the Blue Print and fans are encouraged to wear blue.

2022 Homecoming events are in conjunction with the Nevada Alumni Association, Nevada Athletics and the Associated students of the University of Nevada (ASUN).

- Wednesday, October 19: ASUN Bleed Silver and Blue Blood Drive at Gateway Plaza from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Nevada Football Homecoming game festivities include the 30th Anniversary Recognition of the 1992 Big West Champion Football Team, Nevada Alumni Award Reception Winners, Nevada Cheerleading Thriller Halftime Performance, Men's and Women's Basketball team recognitions and Fireworks.
Under head coach Chris Ault, the 1992 Nevada Football Team captured the Big West title with a 5-1 record in the program's first season at the Division I-A (now FBS) level. Key Big West wins included a 14-10 win at UNLV, and a 48-47 home victory over Utah State in the regular-season finale. The Wolf Pack concluded the season with the program's first bowl appearance at the FBS level, facing Bowling Green at the Las Vegas Bowl.
