SPOKANE, Wash. -Â Nevada got back in the win column Saturday, defeating Seattle University, 6-1, in Spokane.
The Pack opened the dual by capturing the doubles point as the tandems of
Matheo Coupu and
Loris Zisswiller, and
Satchel Benn and
Sasha Nicolau picked up wins. Coupu and Zisswiller downed Seattle University's Michael Frank and Mats Krause, 7-6 (4), while Benn and Nicolau grabbed a 6-4 win over Billy Givens-Jensen and Jayden Harrison.
In singles play, the Pack (4-1) picked up five of six points, led by Coupu's 6-2, 7-5 win over Veselin Kiselkov at the No. 1 spot. Benn (No. 3),
Ambroise Marchand (No. 4),
Gilad Tamar (No. 5), and Nicolau (No. 6) were all victorious in singles play.
Nevada closes the three-match weekend Sunday morning at 10 a.m., facing Idaho.
