RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada's weekend ended Saturday with a 4-0 defeat against New Mexico at McArthur Tennis Center.
The Pack (5-7, 1-1 MW) closes out its home stand next weekend, hosting Boise State and Utah State April 9 and 11, respectively.
Saturday, Nevada struggled to find a rhythm against the Lobos (4-8, 2-0 MW). New Mexico claimed a pair of 6-4 victories at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles to take the first point of the match, then took the first set in each of the six singles matches to put the Pack into a quick hole.
The Lobos finished it off as Jake Trondson defeated
Loris Zisswiller, 6-2, 6-2, at No. 6, Rafael Abdulsalem beat
Juan Batalla, 6-3, 6-0, at No. 4, and Raul Dobai claimed a 6-4, 6-4 win over
Delmas N'Tcha for the clinching point.
