SAN DIEGO - Nevada dropped the first half of its Mountain West opening weekend Saturday, falling 4-0 to UNLV in San Diego.
The Pack (5-2, 0-1 MW) will aim to salvage the weekend Sunday, when it faces host San Diego State at noon.
Saturday, the Pack fell behind early, as UNLV's tandems of Zita Kovacs/Aura Fang and Izumi Asano/En-Pei Huang grabbed victories of 6-0 and 6-2 over Nevada's
