RENO, Nev. – Senior swimmer Donna dePolo has been named Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week.
"Donna had an outstanding week of racing at NCAAs," said head coach Brendon Bray. "She had two personal-best times, one school record and was near scoring in both events. The future is bright for next year, and her hard work has paid off."
dePolo is coming off a strong performance at the 2021 NCAA Championships on March 17-20.
On March 19, dePolo set a school record time of 59.69, her first-ever sub-1:00 swim, in the 100 breaststroke prelims. dePolo won her heat and moved up 21 spots from her seed time to 21st place. On March 20, dePolo's 200 breaststroke time of 2:09.92 became a new personal-best and the second-fastest time in program history. She finished the event in 29th place.
