Women's Basketball

Looking ahead to Saturday's festivities

RENO, Nev. - The Nevada women's basketball team (6-3) takes its five-game win streak into Saturday as it hosts Bushnell at 2 p.m. in Lawlor Events Center. Saturday's contest will also give fans a chance to celebrate the Holiday season.

Fans are encouraged to wear their ugly Holiday sweaters. The Kids Zone will open 60 minutes prior to tipoff, offering Nintendo switch games, giant yard games, a coloring and poster making station, pop-up basketball hoop and pizza. Saturday's game will also feature a Teddy Bear Toss, benefitting local organizations. Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears to toss onto court during half time. Teddy Bears will also be available for purchase in the Kids Zone. Photos with Santa and the Grinch will also be available before the game and during half time.

Following the game, there will be a 30-minute Kids Clinic and autograph signing along with cookie decoration and hot chocolate with the team.
