RENO, Nev. – Thirty-three current and former Nevada Wolf Pack student-athletes have applied for graduation at the University of Nevada this winter. Commencement ceremonies for the University were held Saturday at Lawlor Events Center.

The Wolf Pack athletics department has seen over 1,200 student-athletes graduate over the past 13 years.

In addition to the student-athletes, two members of the Wolf Pack's spirit program is also graduating today, raising the total of Nevada athletics representatives to 35.

"Our graduates continue to raise the bar, both academically and athletically," said athletics director Doug Knuth. "This group of graduates boasts a wide range of accomplishments both in the classroom and in competition, and will continue to excel on their future paths. I would also like to extend thanks for the support and leadership of President Sandoval and the Nevada faculty and staff."

Headlining Nevada's Winter 2021 student-athlete graduates is seven-time NCAA track and field All-American Nicola Ader, who will walk at this weekend's Commencement, and have three bachelor's degrees conferred after the Spring 2022 semester. Ader will earn bachelor's degrees in criminal justice, political science, and international affairs with an emphasis on law, diplomacy, and organization. 

Also among this weekend's graduates are 18 members of the Wolf Pack football team, including two-time Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year Carson Strong, and 2021 All-Mountain West selections Daiyan Henley, Jordan Lee, and Tyler Orsini.
