RENO, Nev. – Nevada (19-11) earned the No. 3 seed in the Mountain West Championship and received bye into the quarterfinals being played at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The Wolf Pack faces either No. 6 Colorado State (20-11) or No. 11 Wyoming (7-23) on Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. PT on CBS Sports Network. The Rams and Cowboys play on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Nevada and CSU split the two games this season with each team winning at home. The Pack swept the two games from Wyoming by a total of six points.
Colorado State is led by second team All-MW selection Nico Carvacho and third-team honoree Isaiah Stevens. Stevens was also named the MW Freshman of the Year. The Cowboys Hunter Madonado was named to the honorable mention MW team.
Junior
Jalen Harris leads the MW scoring 21.8 points per game and his 25.3 in conference play topsa the league. Harris is second on the team in rebound (6.3 rpg) and assists (3.9 apg). Harris is the 2020 MW Newcomer of the Year and a first team All-MW selection
Lindsey Drew, was named to the All-MW defensive team for the second time and was an honorable mention MW selection. Drew leads Pack in rebounding at 6.6 per game and in assists averaging 4.1 per game. He is third on the squad scoring 11.1 points per outing.
Zouzoua was named the MW Sixth Man of the Year. He is scoring 9.7 points per game off the bench in his senior season.
THE SERIES
Nevada leads the series with CSU 15-10. Wyoming leads the series 14-9 but the Pack has won the last three games and seven of the last eight meetings.

HARRIS IN THE MOUNTAIN WEST RECORD BOOK
Junior
Jalen Harris is having an outstanding first year after transferring to Nevada from Louisiana Tech. Harris is making a dent on the Mountain West record book this season.
Harris' 456 points in MW play is the second most in a season and the top total for a junior. Jimmer Fredette (2010-11) is first with 502 points.
In conference play his 25.3 points per game ranks as the third best season average and is the best for a junior.
In MW play he has made 163 field goals and attempted 331. The 163 made field goals is a new record and record for a junior. The 331 attempts is second most in conference history and tops for a junior. Jimmer Fredette (2010-11) ranks first with 342.
NEVADA TIES SCHOOL RECORD WITH 17 3S VERSUS NEW MEXICO
Nevada tied the school record making 17 3-pointers on 35 attempts in the 96-74 win over New Mexico, on Jan. 25. The Wolf Pack also made 17 3s at Pacific on Nov. 18, 2017 on 34 attempts.
In 12 of the last 16 contests Nevada has made 10 or more 3-pointers. On the season 20 times the Wolf Pack has made 10 or more 3s in a game.
Nationally the Pack is eighth with 300 made 3s and ninth making 38.4 percent of its 3-pointers. Nevada's 781 attempted 3s ranks 35th and 10 made per game is 10th. The Pack is also doing it defensively ranking 22nd in field goal percentage defense in NCAA I at 29.4 percent.
In the MW Nevada leads in 3-pointers per game, 3s made and 3-point percentage.
DREW MAKING MARK IN NEVADA RECORD BOOK
Senior
Lindsey Drew has played 129 games at Nevada and started 123. The 123 starts is third at Nevada with Dario Hunt (2009-12) second with 127. Drew has played in 93 wins during his time which fourth at Nevada. Kyle Shiloh (2003-07) is third with 98. His 3,915 minutes played is third at Nevada with Nick Fazekas second with 3,944.
Drew's 166 steals is fifth in Wolf Pack history with Deonte Burton (2010-14) fourth with 169. His 508 assists is third with Deonte Burton (2010-14) second with 515.
He is the first player at Nevada with 900 points, 600 rebounds and 500 assists. Currently he sits at 963 points, 648 rebounds and 508 assists.

Johnson's 1,548 points is 70th, 42.1 percent 3-point shooting is 29th, 126 games played is 119th, and 253 made 3s is 27th. Drew ranks 99th with 648 rebounds, 26th with 508 assists, 39th with 166 steals, ranks 17th with a 2.1 assists turnover ratio and is 69th with 129 games played.
Harris is 39th scoring 16.3 points per contest. Zouzoua's 204 made 3-pointers is 97th.
JOHNSON, ZOUZOUA AND HARRIS 1,000 POINT SCORERS
Jazz Johnson scored his 1500th point in the win at New Mexico,
Nisré Zouzoua his 1300th at UNLV and
Jalen Harris notched his 1000th in the victory at UNLV. Harris six points from 1100.
Johnson has 1,548 points in 126 games for a career average of 12.3 points per game. He scored 740 of the points in two seasons at Portland.
Zouzua has netted 1,344 points in 113 games giving him a career average of 11.9 points per game. At Bryant he scored 1,025 of those points in two seasons.
Harris has 1,094 in 66 games for a career average of 16.3 points per game.
HARRIS LEADING THE PACK
Junior
Jalen Harris was named the MW Newcomer of the Year by the conference coaches. He was selected to the All-MW first team by the coaches and media.
Harris has scored in double figures in the last 26 games which includes six games of 30 or more points at Air Force (31), at Utah State (31), at Colorado State (31), at Boise State (30), home versus Air Force (38) and SJSU (32). The 38 points is his career high and the high in the Mountain West this season. He made a career-best six 3s on eight attempts in the AF home win.
He is the only player in the MW to have six games of 30 or more points this season. The six games is the most by a MW player since Josh Adams had nine and Elijah Brown six in the 2015-16 season.
He joins Ken Green (1982-83), Romie Thomas (1970-71) and Edgar Jones (1976-77) as the only Wolf Pack players with six games of 30 or more points in a season. Green had 11, Thomas eight and Jones seven.
Harris has delivered in the clutch scoring the final three points at UNLV in the Pack's 82-79 victory. His layup with just under 9 seconds to play against Wyoming gave the Pack the 68-67 victory. At CSU his 3-pointer with 5.3 seconds to play put the Pack up 91-90 before the Rams won on a last second shot. In the win over Fresno State his bucket with 30 seconds to play put the Pack up 78-73 on the way to the 78-76 victory.
Harris tops the team in scoring (21.8 ppg) and is second in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and assists (3.9 apg). The 21.8 points per game leads the Mountain West and 25.3 in MW play is also first. The assist numbers rank seventh in the MW and the rebounds ninth.
In last nine games and 18 of the last 25 games he has scored 20 or more points including the six 30-point games. In the win over Santa Clara he posted his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. His game-high eight assists left him two shy of a triple double. At UNLV he posted his second double-double with game highs of 29 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. The 14 rebounds is the high for a Pack player this season.
In 15 games he posted game highs in points, 11 times he posted a game-high in assists and six times a game-high in rebounds.
From the field he is shooting 45.4 percent, 37.2 percent from behind the arc and 82.4 percent at the free throw line to rank fourth in the conference.
Harris injured his foot in the season opener with Utah playing just 8 minutes and missed the LMU game. He returned to the lineup against UT Arlington and scored a game-high 24 points in the victory.
JOHNSON CONTINUES TO KNOCK DOWN THE 3S
Wolf Pack senior
Jazz Johnson was named to the All-MW second team by the coaches and and the third team by the conference media. Johnson has not missed a beat since returning from a shoulder injury that forced him to miss two games. Since his return Johnson is averaging 14.7 points and scored in double figures in all six games. In his return to the lineup against San José State he scored 13 points, had 19 at UNLV, 15 at New Mexico, 15 vs. Fresno State, 13 at Wyoming and 13 vs. SDSU. The two games missed were at Boise State and home with Air Force.
Johnson ranks second on the team and is eighth in the MW scoring 15.9 points per game.
Johnson's 25 games scoring in double figures is second on the team. He scored a career-high 34 points in the Pack's home win over Boise State. Johnson made a career-best eight 3-pointers on 12 attempts. The eight made 3s and 13 made field goals all rank second in the MW this season while the 34 points is fourth.
The eight made 3s is tied for the third most in a game at Nevada. He also tied for game honors with a career-high seven rebounds.
Johnson scored his 1,500th career point at New Mexico with 740 of the points coming in two seasons at Portland. Currently has 1,548 points in 126 games
He has made a 3-pointer in each game this season and three or more in 20 contests.
Johnson has been knocking down the 3-pointers at a high rate this season having made 88-of-210. The 88 made 3s is 17th nationally, 3.1 per game is 13th, and 41.9 3-point percentage is 17th. He tops the MW in 3-pointers per game and 3-point percentage while ranking second in 3s made.
Five times he has scored 20 or more points; 20 vs. LMU, 26 vs. USC, 25 vs. BGSU, 20 vs. SCU and the 34 vs. BSU. In the USC, BGSU, SCU and BSU games the point totals were game highs.
He is shooting 82.9 percent at the free throw line.
At the Paradise Jam he made 60 percent of his 3-pointers connecting on 15-of-25 in three games. In the title game he made 7-of-10.
DREW DOING IT ALL IN FINAL SEASON AT NEVADA
The versatile
Lindsey Drew is doing it once again in his fifth and final season at Nevada. Drew missed all last year after rupturing his right achilles tendon at Boise State on
Feb. 14, 2018. Drew is the first 900 point, 600 rebound and 500 assists player in school history.
Drew earned honorable All-MW honors for both the coaches and media in his senior season. He was named to the All-MW defensive team for the second time.
Currently he has 963 points, 648 rebounds and 508 assists. He also has 166 steals.
The do everything guard returned with a flair scoring a career-high 30 points in his senior debut against Utah. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out eight assists. In the next game he scored 24 points, had nine rebounds and five assists in a win over Loyola Marymount. Both point totals were game highs.
In 17 games he has scored in double figures which is the most double figure scoring games for him in a season, passing the 10 he had his junior year before the injury. He leads the team in assists (4.1 apg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg). From the field he is shooting 47.9 percent. In total he is ranked in seven categories in the conference.
Twice he has posted double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Paradise Jam Championship game win over Bowling Green. Against TSU he scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and fourth of his career.
In the win at UNLV he grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds.
In nine games he posted highs in assists; vs. Utah (8), LMU (7), UTA (4), at Air Force (6), vs. CSU (6), vs. BSU (9), at SJSU (5), vs. the AFA (4) and vs. SJSU (7). The nine assists in the BSU game tied his career high and is the high for a Nevada player this season. In another six games he posted game highs in rebounds; LMU (9), vs. Bowling Green (10), at Air Force (8), TSU (10) at BSU (10) and vs. SJSU (8).
ZOUZOUA DELIVERING IN HIS SENIOR SEASON
Senior
Nisré Zouzoua, 2020 MW Sixth Man of the Year, has provided a spark off the bench this season and in the New Mexico home win led the Pack in scoring for the first time in his career with 20 points. Zouzoua knocked down 6-of-7 shots from behind the arc vs. UNM. The 20 points and six made 3s are both highs for him during his time at Nevada. At Colorado State he was a perfect 5-of-5 from behind the arc making 11-of-12 in the two-game stretch.
In the win over Fresno State he scored 19 points, one-point off his Pack career high. Zouzoua connected of 7-of-9 field goals, 5-of-7 from behind the arc.
In the last 11 games is averaging 12.2 points, is shooting 48.5 (48-of-99) percent from the field and 47.5 (28-of-59) from behind the arc. Zousoua has scored in double figures in four of the last seven games and seven of the last 11 contests. Three times he has put together three-game scoring streaks with the most recent one being 15 vs. Air Force, 15 vs. SJSU and 12 at UNLV. His 9.7 points per game this season ranks fourth on the squad.
Zouzoua started the game at Boise State and the home game with Air Force for the injured
Jazz Johnson. On the season he has made four starts.
In 15 games this season he has scored in double figures.
He scored nine points in each of the first two games of the season which were then Nevada career highs. Against UT Arlington he nearly doubled that netting 16 points, making 6-of-8 shots from the field of which 3-of-5 were from behind the arc.
At the Paradise Jam he averaged 11 points per game. He scored 11 points in the win over Fordham and 15 in the victory against Valparaiso.
NEVADA FINISHES TIED FOR SECOND IN MW STANDINGS
Nevada finished in a three way tie for second in the Mountain West standings at 12-6 with Utah State and UNLV. SDSU won the league with a 17-1 record.
Boise State and Colorado State tied for fifth with 11-7 records.
New Mexico (7-11) and Fresno State (7-11) tied for seventh with 7-11 conference records. Air Force (5-13), SJSU (3-15) and Wyoming (2-16) are in spots nine through 11.

Nevada falls to No. 5 SDSU on Senior Night
RENO, Nevada (AP) Malachi Flynn scored 36 points on 13-of-20 shooting and No. 5 San Diego State overcame a 13-point second-half deficit to beat Nevada 83-76 on Saturday night.
K.J. Feagin briefly left the game with a rolled ankle, but returned and finished with 14 points for the Aztecs (28-1, 17-1 Mountain West) while shooting 4 of 10 beyond the arc.
The Wolf Pack (19-11, 11-6) connected on 22 of their first 37 shots and held a 54-39 lead with 16:52 left in front of 10,855 fans on Nevada's Senior Night.
But the Aztecs went on a 31-12 run over the next 10 minutes. Nevada was scoreless from the field for seven straight minutes during that stretch.
Jalen Harris led Nevada with 24 points, while seniors Lyndsey Drew and
Jazz Johnson added 13 each.
The Aztecs beat Nevada on the boards 24-21 and won points in the paint 28-22.
