RENO, Nev. – Outside back Hana Law has transferred to join the Nevada soccer team for the 2020 season from the University of California, San Diego. The junior spent two years at UCSD, helping her team reach the Division II NCAA Semifinals in 2018.

"We are excited about Hana joining our program," said head coach Erin Otagaki. "We believe she will be a great addition to the culture of Nevada soccer."

Law lettered in soccer for four years at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif. before attending UCSD, where she helped lead the Lancers to a WCAL Conference Co-Championship in 2017. That same season, she was named to the WCAL All-League Second Team.

With the Tritons, she helped lead her squad to a CCAA Conference championship in 2018 and CCAA Tournament championships in 2018-19. She earned 2018-19 All-Academic honors as well, while playing in six games with one start and 148 minutes spent on the pitch.

Law decided to come to Nevada because she fell in love with the campus and coaching staff, it's close to Tahoe and she has family nearby. In her free time, she enjoys watching Netflix, going to the beach, hiking, wakeboarding, and hanging out with friends and family. She is planning to major in human development and family studies with the Wolf Pack.
