RENO, Nev. – Nevada (14-10, 7-5 MW) seeks is 19th consecutive Mountain West home victory on Saturday at 4 p.m. when San José State (7-16, 3-8 MW) comes to Lawlor Events Center.
The Wolf Pack lost the first meeting 70-68 which snapped an eight-game win streak to the Spartans. SJSU has dropped five of its six games and are 10th in the MW standings at 3-8.
Seneca Knight is the only SJSU player averaging double figures at 15 points per game. Ivey Brae is second at 9.6 points per contest. Christain Anigwe is grabbing a team-best 5.9 rebounds per outing.
The Pack are led by
Jalen Harris who scores a MW high 20.7 points per contest and his 25.2 points per game in conference play is also first. Harris has scored 30 or more points in the last three games becoming the first player in Nevada history to accomplish the feat.
Senior
Jazz Johnson has missed the last two games as his shoulder was bothering him and his status for Saturday is questionabel at this time. Johnson is second on the team scoring 16.3 points per game. He tops the MW in in 3-pointers made per game (3.2), 3-point percentage (42.3%) and 3-pointers made (71). He also ranks nationally in all three categories.
Lindsey Drew tops the team with his 4.3 assists per game to rank fourth in the conference. Drew is third on the team scoring 11.4 points per game. He has scored 903 points, grabbed 604 rebounds and dished out 486 assists in his Pack career.
Senior
Nisré Zouzoua scored a Pack career-best 20 points in the win over New Mexico. Zouzoua made 6-of-7 3-pointers in the victory and it was the first time he led the team in scoring. At CSU he was 5-for-5 from behind the arc. He earned the start for Johnson at BSU and versus Air Force. On the season he is averaging 9.4 points per game off the bench and 13.6 points in the last five games.

HARRIS FIRST NEVADA PLAYER WITH THREE CONSECUTIVE 30-POINT GAMES
Junior
Jalen Harris became the first player at Nevavda in the NCAA I era that began in 1969 to score 30 or more points in three consecutive games after his career-high 38 in the win over Air Force. Harris had 30 at Boise State and 31 at Colorado State in the previous two games. The 38 points is the high in the Mountain West this season.
In the last three games he is averaging 33 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 4.3 assists per game. From the field he is shooting 52.9 percent, 48 percent from behind the arc and 93.8 percent at the free throw line. Of the 99 points 69 have come in the second half. He made a career-best six 3s on eight attempts in the 38-point game against Air Force.
In total he has five games of 30 or more points this season and is one-of-nine players in NCAA I with five or more games of 30 or more points. His first of the season was 31 at Air Force and had 31 at Utah State.
The five games is the most by a MW player since Josh Adams had nine and Elijah Brown six in the 2015-16 season.
He joins Ken Green (1982-83), Romie Thomas (1970-71) and Edgar Jones (1976-77) as the only Wolf Pack players with five games of 30 or more points in a season. Green had 11, Thomas eight and Jones seven.
NEVADA TIES SCHOOL RECORD WITH 17 3S VERSUS NEW MEXICO
Nevada tied the school record making 17 3-pointers on 35 attempts in the 96-74 win over New Mexico, on Jan. 25. The Wolf Pack also made 17 3s at Pacific on Nov. 18, 2017 on 34 attempts.
In eight of the last 10 contests Nevada has made 10 or more 3-pointers. On the season 16 times the Wolf Pack has made 10 or more 3s in a game.
Nationally the Pack is fifth with 242 made 3s and 12th making 38.8 percent of its 3-pointers. Nevada's 624 attempted 3s ranks 28th and 10.1 made per game is 10th. The Pack is also doing it defensively ranking 11th in field goal percentage defense in NCAA Iat 28.6 percent.
In the MW Nevada leads in 3-pointers per game, 3-point percentage and 3s made.
ALFORD WINS 600TH GAME AS PACK DOWNS NEW MEXICO 96-74
First-year Nevada head coach
Steve Alford won his 600th career game when the Wolf Pack defeated New Mexico 96-74 on Jan. 25. Alford coached at UNM for six seasons and won 155 games during his time with the Lobos. Alford is 601-308 in his 29th season.
Alford is the 16th active NCAA I head coach with 600 career wins. He earned 78 victories at Manchester, 78 at Missouri State, 152 during his time at Iowa, 155 coaching at New Mexico and 124 at UCLA.
Alford's father Sam coached 29 seasons of high school basketball posting a record of 452-288. The two have combined for 1,053 victories. Steve played for his father at New Castle Chrysler High School in Indiana. He played for legendary coach Bob Knight at Indiana and helped the Hoosiers to the 1987 NCAA Championship. Knight posted a record of 902-371 in 42 seasons.
DREW MAKING MARK IN NEVADA RECORD BOOK
Senior
Lindsey Drew has played 123 games at Nevada and started 117. The 117 starts is tied for fourth at Nevada. Nick Fazekas (2004-07) is next on the list with 119 starts. He has played in 88 wins during his time which is sixth with Brandon Fields (2006-10) fifth with 90. His 3,727 minutes played is fifth at Nevada.
Drew's 155 steals is sixth in Wolf Pack history with Matt Williams (1987-91) fifth with 162. His 486 assists is third. In the home win over Air Force he scored his 900th point and now has 903 and grabbed his 600th rebound and has 604 after the game.

Johnson's 1,460 points is 60th, 42.2 percent 3-point shooting is 25th, 120 games played is 104th, and 236 made 3s is 26th. Drew ranks 91st with 604 rebounds, 23rd with 486 assists, 40th with 155 steals, ranks 13th with a 2.2 assists turnover ratio and is 58th with 123 games played.
Harris is 39th shooting 85.2 percent at the free throw line and is 52nd scoring 15.4 points per contest. Zouzoua's 193 made 3-pointers is 92nd.
NEVADA IN THE NET
Nevada has a NET ranking of 88 which is the tool that the NCAA uses to rank teams for post season play. The NCAA Evaluation Tool, which will be known as the NET, relies on game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses.
The Wolf Pack's overall strength of schedule is 57th and non-conference strength of schedule is 46th. The Pack's basketball power index is 83 and kenpom.com ranking is 78.
HARRIS LEADING THE PACK

Jalen Harris has scored in double figures in the last 20 games which includes five games of 30 or more points at Air Force (31), at Utah State (31), at Colorado State (31), at Boise State (30) and home versus Air Force (38). The 38 points is his career high and the high in the Mountain West this season. He made a career-best six 3s on eight attempts in the AF home win.
He is the only player in the MW to have five games of 30 or more points this season. The five games is the most by a MW player since Josh Adams had nine and Elijah Brown six in the 2015-16 season.

Harris' layup with just under 9 seconds to play against Wyoming gave the Pack the 68-67 victory. At CSU his 3-pointer with 5.3 seconds to play put the Pack up 91-90 before the Rams won on a last second shot.
Harris tops the team in scoring (20.7 ppg) and is second in rebounding (6.1 rpg) and assists (4.1 apg). The 20.7 points per game leads the Mountain West and 25.2 in MW play is also first. The assist numbers rank fifth in the MW and the rebounds ninth.
In 12 of the last 19 games he has scored 20 or more points including the five 30-point games. In the win over Santa Clara he posted his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. His game-high eight assists left him two shy of a triple double.
In 12 games he posted game highs in points, 10 times he posted a game-high in assists and four times a game-high in rebounds.
From the field he is shooting 44.9 percent, 38 percent from behind the arc and 84.5 percent at the free throw line to rank third in the conference.
Harris injured his foot in the season opener with Utah playing just 8 minutes and missed the LMU game. He returned to the lineup against UT Arlington and scored a game-high 24 points in the victory.
JOHNSON MISSES BACK-TO-BACK GAMES

Jazz Johnson missed the Boise State and Air Force games with a shoulder injury and his status for Saturday's game with San José State is unknown at this time. Johnson ranks second on the team and is seventh in the MW scoring 16.3 points per game.
Johnson's 19 games scoring in double figures is second on the team. He scored a career-high 34 points in the Pack's home win over Boise State. Johnson made a career-best eight 3-pointers on 12 attempts. The 34 points, eight made 3s and 13 made field goals all rank second in the MW this season.
The eight made 3s is tied for the third most in a game at Nevada. He also tied for game honors with a career-high seven rebounds.
Johnson scored his 1,400th career point in the Wyoming win with 740 coming at Portland. Currently in 120 games he has scored 1,460 points.
He has made a 3-pointer in each game this season and three or more in 15 contests.
Johnson has been knocking down the 3-pointers at a high rate this season having made 71-of-168. The 71 made 3s is 15th nationally, 3.2 per game is 12th, and 42.3 3-point percentage is 21st. He tops the MW in all three categories.
Five times he has scored 20 or more points; 20 vs. LMU, 26 vs. USC, 25 vs. BGSU, 20 vs. SCU and the 34 vs. BSU. In the USC, BGSU, SCU and BSU games the point totals were game highs.
He is shooting 81.4 percent at the free throw line.
At the Paradise Jam he made 60 percent of his 3-pointers connecting on 15-of-25 in three games. In the title game he made 7-of-10.
DREW DOING IT ALL IN FINAL SEASON AT NEVADA
The versatile
Lindsey Drew is doing it once again in his fifth and final season at Nevada. Drew missed all last year after rupturing his right achilles tendon at Boise State on
Feb. 14, 2018.
The do everything guard returned with a flair scoring a career-high 30 points in his senior debut against Utah. He also grabbed six rebounds and dished out eight assists. In the next game he scored 24 points, had nine rebounds and five assists in a win over Loyola Marymount. Both point totals were game highs.
In 14 games he has scored in double figures which is the most double figure scoring games for him in a season, passing the 10 he had his junior year before the injury. He leads the team in assists (4.3 apg) and rebounding (6.4 rpg). From the field he is shooting 46.4 percent. In total he is ranked in seven categories in the conference.
Twice he has posted double-doubles with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Paradise Jam Championship game win over Bowling Green. Against TSU he scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and fourth of his career.
In eight games he posted highs in assists; vs. Utah (8), LMU (7), UTA (4), at Air Force (6), vs. CSU (6), vs. BSU (9), at SJSU (5), and vs. the AFA. The nine assists in the BSU game tied his career high and is the high for a Nevada player this season. In another five games he posted game highs in rebounds; LMU (9), vs. Bowling Green (10), at Air Force (8), TSU (10) and at BSU (10).
ZOUZOUA ON FIRE FROM THREE
Senior
Nisré Zouzoua has provided a spark off the bench this season and in the New Mexico win led the Pack in scoring for the first time in his career with 20 points. Zouzoua knocked down 6-of-7 shots from behind the arc vs. UNM. The 20 points and six made 3s are both highs for him during his time at Nevada.
At Colorado State he was a perfect 5-of-5 from behind the arc making 11-of-12 in the two-game stretch. In the last five games Zouzoua has made 17-of-31 3s good for 54.8 percent from behind the arc. He is averaging 13.6 in the five game stretch.
At BSU he started for Johnson but struggled scoring five points and made 1-of-7 from behind the arc. In his second start for Johnson he scored 15 points and made 3-of-8 from behind arch. Zouzoua is fourth on the team averaging 9.4 points per game.
In five of the last seven games he has scored in double figures which included a three-game stretch that ended at BSU. In 12 games this season he has scored in double figures.
He scored nine points in each of the first two games of the season which were then Nevada career highs. Against UT Arlington he nearly doubled that netting 16 points, making 6-of-8 shots from the field of which 3-of-5 were from behind the arc.
At the Paradise Jam he averaged 11 points per game. He scored 11 points in the win over Fordham and 15 in the victory against Valparaiso.
NEVADA TIED FOR FOURTH IN MW STANDINGS
Nevada is tied with Utah State for fourth place in the MW standings at 7-5 after 12 games.
San Diego State leads the conference with a perfect 12-0 record followed by Colorado State and Boise State at 8-4. UNLV is alone in sixth at 6-5.
New Mexico is seventh at 5-6. Fresno State (4-8), Air Force (3-8), San José State (3-8) and Wyoming (1-11) are in spots 8-11.

HARRIS' 38-POINTS SENDS NEVADA HURTLING PAST AIR FORCE

Jalen Harris scored a career-high 38 points and Nevada overwhelmed Air Force 88-54 on Tuesday night.
Harris reached 33 points with 9:58 remaining on a three-point play at a juncture when Air Force had only scored 35. He finished 12-of-21 shooting, including 6 of 8 from 3-point range, and made all eight of his foul-shots.
It was the 6-foot-5 guard's second-straight game of 30 points or more and fifth of the season. He tied his previous career high of 31 points at Air Force on Dec. 7.
Nevada (14-10, 7-5 Mountain West Conference) opened with a 23-9 lead and extended it to 44-22 at intermission. Harris' 3-pointer with 11:47 left made it 64-33.
Nisre Zouzoua added 15 points for the Wolfpack, which ended a two-game losing streak.
Lavelle Scottie scored 19 for Air Force (9-14, 3-8). The Falcons have lost five straight and six of their last seven.
