ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The University of Nevada (5-4) women's tennis team dominated Sonoma State (4-3) winning 6-1 on Thursday.  With the victory the Wolf Pack improved to 5-4 while Sonoma State fell to 4-3.  The Pack plays at Sacramento State (0-7) on Friday at 1 p.m.

Nevada started the day winning the No. 2 and 3 doubles matches to secure the first point of the match.  Roos van Reek and Arina Gumerova scored a 6-2 victory on court 2.  Selina Turulja and Ksenia Shikanova clinched the point with a 6-4 win on court 3.

The Seawolves tied the match when Sasha Turchak won on court 1 as the Pack's Anastasia Luneva was force to retire.

The Pack won the next five singles matches to earn the win 6-1.  Arina Gumerova clinched the victory with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles over Hannah Highsmith.

Shikanova, van Reek, and Turulja all won in straight sets.  Liza Mintusova need three sets for her 4-6, 6-4 and 6-3 win on court 4.
