BERKELEY, Calif. - The University of Nevada (6-4) men's tennis fell 7-0 at No. 17 Cal on Saturday at the Hellman Tennis Complex. The Wolf Pack is now 6-4 on the season while the Golden Bears improved to 5-2. The Pack plays next week at the Fresno State Bulldog Invitational.
Cal won both completed doubles matches to claim the first point of the day. Yuta Kikuchi and Jack Molloy won 6-3 on court 3 over the Pack's
Daniel Dudockin and
Benjamin Campi to clinch the doubles point.
In singles action Cal won all six matches in straight sets. Bjorn Hoffmann defeated Campi on at No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-0 to clinch the victory for the Golden Bears. The first three players in Cal's singles lineup are all nationally ranked.
