RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Battle at the Rock, the spring season opener for the Nevada women's golf team, has officially been canceled due to inclement weather.
 
After Monday's first two rounds were canceled, the 17 teams were able to tee off this morning in hopes of making the tournament a one-round event. After about five or six holes had been completed, the inclement weather rolled in once again, officially canceling the event.
 
Nevada will return to competition next week as it competes in the Rebel Beach Invitational Feb. 17-18 in Las Vegas, Nev. and Spanish Trails Country Club.
