A letter from athletics director Doug Knuth:
Hello!
You've been here with us through it all – the ups and downs, the high and lows, and all of these unprecedented times. All of us here in Nevada Athletics feel your support every day, and it means so much.Â
Thank YOU! You help us pursue our mission of providing a transformational experience for our student-athletes, academically and athletically.
Challenges, and the lessons learned from them, are a critical part of the college athletic experience. Our student-athletes are facing those challenges head on and continue to excel in the classroom, on the fields of play and making a difference in the community. Our commitment to them as a department and a University has not wavered. The challenges we face this year have been unlike any other we have ever seen and we need the support of everyone who cares Wolf Pack Athletics now, more than ever.
Through the We Are Nevada Campaign, you can directly impact the lives of our student-athletes. While we are off to a strong start with more than $500,000 raised to date, we still have a lot of work to do to reach our goal of $1,730,000 by December 31st.
Starting today, a gift to We Are Nevada can be even more impactful. Today we launch a two-day We Are Nevada Giving Tuesday Challenge, as part of the national Giving Tuesday effort.
Here's how you can help:
- Make a gift of any size to your favorite teams on November 30th and December 1st.
- The three men's teams and the three women's teams who have the highest number of donors during those 48 hours will earn bonus funds towards their fundraising goals.
- Thanks to an anonymous gift of $10,000, $2,500 will be awarded for 1st place, $1,500 for 2nd place, and $1,000 for 3rd place to both men's and women's teams.

I know Wolf Pack nation will respond and we will get the job done.Â
WE ARE stronger together. WE ARE one community. WE ARE one Pack
WE ARE NEVADA!
Thank you, and GO PACK!
