PROVO, Utah – The Nevada swim and dive team drops the final road dual meet of the season to BYU on Saturday afternoon. The Pack posted a 114 score while BYU scored 123, however, 32 of those were from diving, of which Nevada did not compete in.
The 200 medley relay continues its winning ways, posting a time of 1:42.51. The relay team was comprised of Imogen Watson, Donna dePolo, Josien Wijkhuijs and Ileah Doctor. Colette Berkenfield, Doctor, Wijkhuijs and Andressa Cholodovskis finished second in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:34.09.
Nevada took five individual wins with Cholodovskis winning both the 100 free and 200 free. Fellow captain,
Caitlyn McHugh finished second in the 200 free and second in the 500 free with a time of 5:09.63.
Wijkhuijs finished first in the 100 fly with a time of 56.16 just after dePolo took first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:01.90. Wrapping up the individual wins was
Lindsey Soule who won the 500 free with a time 5:09.39. Soule also swam the 1000 free and was the top finisher for the Pack with a second place finish and a time of 10:35.70.
Wiktoria Samula was second in the 100 breast, just behind dePolo with a time of 1:02.39.
Benedict Nagy took second in the 400 IM and Doctor was second in the 50 free with a time of 23.50.
Up next for Nevada is its final dual meet of the season, a home meet with New Mexico. The Pack meet the Lobos at 5pm in the Lombardi Pool on January 31st. Free admission.
