AZUSA, Calif. – The University of Nevada men's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season after winning 4-3 at Azusa Pacific on Saturday afternoon at the Munson and Bavougian Tennis Complex.  The Wolf Pack concludes its three-match road swing to southern California at UC San Diego on Sunday at 11 a.m.

APU earned the doubles point sweeping all three matches by identical scores of 6-1.  

The Cougars made the score 2-0 after Jakob Schnaitter won in straight sets on 6-2, 6-2 over the Pack's Julien Evrard on court 1.  The Pack's first point came at No. 6 singles when Benjamin Campi blanked Dillon Barnard 6-0, 6-0.

Delmas N'Tcha won 7-6, 6-1 on court 4 to tie the score at 2-2.  Sam Sippel put APU back in front 3-2 with a three-set 2-6, 6-2, and 6-3 victory over Nevada's Isaac Nortey.

The Pack got three-set victories on courts 5 and 3 to win the match 4-3.  At No. 5 singles Gvidas Motuzas defeated Cole Rassner 3-6, 6-3, and 6-2 to even the match at 3-3.  Daniel Dudockin's 6-2, 2-6 and 6-4 win on court 3 sealed the 4-3 win for Nevada.
