RENO, Nev. – Five members of the Nevada track and field team were named to the Mountain West All-Conference team today, the Mountain West announced. Sophomore
Nicola Ader and junior
Gaby Palmer earned the honor after being named to the indoor all-conference team this season.
Ader was one of three event champions, winning the high jump, with sophomore
Alex Bohlman winning the javelin and junior
Karoline Sauer winning the 400m hurdles. Palmer and senior
Lindsey Sickler each took home bronze medals in the pole vault and steeplechase, respectively.
Sauer and Bohlman were both named to the all-conference team for the second year in a row. Last year, Sauer won the 400m hurdles and Bohlman took third in the javelin.
Up next for the Wolf Pack is the NCAA West Prelims in Sacramento, Calif. next week. Nevada will wait to see who advances until final declarations are set later this week.
