FRESNO, Calif. – The University of Nevada (10-10, 2-5 MW) men's tennis team dropped a 4-1 Mountain West match at Fresno State (15-10, 5-2 MW) on Saturday. After the loss the Wolf Pack is 10-10 overall and 2-5 in MW play. The Bulldogs improved to 15-10 and 5-2 in conference play.
Nevada will host Northern Colorado at 10 a.m. at the McArthur Tennis Center on Sunday and senior
Jonathan Aremon will be honored as part of Senior Day. In addition fans in attendance will have a chance to play tennis with the team after the match. An egg hunt will also follow the match. Bring your racquet and you can step on to the courts and play with the entire team and coaching staff after the match. Bring your basket so you can collect eggs.
The Pack earned the doubles points after
Julien Evrard and
Matvey Radionov scored a 6-3 victory on court 1 to clinch the point.
Jeremy Merville and
Jonathan Aremon won the first completed match of the day 6-3 on court 3.
FS won all four completed singles matches to clinch the 4-1 victory. The Bulldogs won in straight sets on courts 6, 2 and 1. The deciding match came at No 4 singles where Jeremy Moser won in three sets 6-4, 4-6, and 7-6 (7-5) over the Pack's
Jonathan Aremon.
