Box Score RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (11-10) men's tennis team blanked Northern Colorado (11-13) 4-0 on Senior Day at the McArthur Tennis Center today. With the victory the Wolf Pack improved to 11-10 while the Bears fell 11-13.
Senior
Jonathan Aremon was honored for his contributions to Wolf Pack tennis after the completion of the doubles.
The Pack will travel to Fresno State next week to compete in the Mountain West Championship. The opponent, time and date has yet to be announced.
The Pack won the doubles point with victories on courts 2 and 3. Aremon and
Jeremy Merville clinched the point with a 6-4 victory on court 3.
Kostya Nesterenko and
Benjamin Campi won at No. 2 doubles 6-1 in the first completed match of the day.
Nevada received a point at No. 6 singles as UNC was unable to fill the spot as a result of injury and the Pack led 2-0.
Matvey Radionov put the Pack up 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5 doubles.
Daniel Dudockin clinched the match with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win on court 3.
