RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada sophomore
Joshua Zamora homered in the top of the fourth inning in the Wolf Pack's exhibition game with the Reno Aces on Tuesday night at Greater Nevada Field. Zamora's solo shot went off the scoreboard and caused some damage to the center field structure.
The Aces won the game 13-1 and outhit the Pack 9-3. All 14 runs were scored courtesy of home runs as the Aces hit five to Nevada's one. Aces second baseman Rob Refsnyder belted two homers including a grand slam driving in six on the night. Shortstop Domingo Leyba also had two home runs and finished with three RBI. Left fielder Andrew Aplin had the fifth home run for the Triple A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, a grand slam in the fourth inning.

Jaylon McLaughlin doubled in the sixth inning and catcher
Matt Clayton singles in the fourth.
Funds from tonight's game go to the Wolf Pack Dugout Club, a fundraising organization originally started by former Wolf Pack baseball players to provide support for the baseball program at the University of Nevada. Over that span, the Aces have donated over $85,000 to the University of Nevada Dugout Club which does not include proceeds from tonight's game.
