AWARDS SEASON
One week after earning a selection to the Google Cloud Academic All-District second team for District VIII, senior Jade Redmon picked up another award as she was named the Mountain West Player of the Week on Feb. 25. Redmon averaged 19.0 points per game that week to help the Pack go undefeated, which included an upset win at Fresno State. Redmon has scored in double figures in all but one game this season and led the Pack with 19 points in the senior night win over Air Force. She has her average up to 14.7 points per game, which leads the team and ranks fifth in the league.

CAPTURE THE ESSENCE
Freshman Essence Booker had quite the homecoming when the Pack traveled to Las Vegas to face UNLV. Booker, a graduate of Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas, scored a career-high 13 points against rival UNLV. She finished 3-of-5 from the field and was near perfect from the free throw line, hitting 7-of-8. She also tied her season high of four rebounds in the game and added one assist and one steal in her 24 minutes on the floor. Booker has been playing well as of late, scoring in double figures in four of her last six. In the last six games, Booker is averaging 9.8 points per game and is shooting 47.5 percent from the field, including 66.7 percent from beyond the arc.

TIP TIP TERAE
Senior Terae Briggs is putting together a remarkable career season for the Pack. She was named the Mountain West Player of the Week for the first time in her career after scoring a career-high 24 points in the team's win over Hawai'i but then followed that up with setting a new career high of 30 points at Utah State. Briggs picked up her ninth double-double of the season in the win over SDSU with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Her nine double-doubles are third-most in the conference. Briggs currently ranks seventh in the league in scoring, fifth in rebounding, fifth in field goal percentage, fourth in defensive rebounds and is sixth in offensive rebounds. She needs 33 points to eclipse 1,000 in her career.
