RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada (5-2) men's tennis team will compete in the Golden State Invitational on Friday and Saturday, playing three matches in two days. The event is being hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State.
The Wolf Pack opens with Saint Mary's on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Marya Tennis Center on the UC Davis campus. Nevada defeated the Gaels 5-2 on Feb. 24 in the home opener for the Wolf Pack at the Lakeridge Tennis Courts.
The Pack's second match of the day will be at the same location at 2 p.m. versus either New Mexico State (5-5) or UC Davis (7-4) depending on the winners and losers of the first two matches. UCD defeated the Pack 4-3 back on Jan. 26.
The four teams competing in the other half of the bracket at the Sacramento State Tennis Courts are Sacramento State (4-5), Hawai`i (3-4), Grand Canyon (6-3) and Fresno State (7-7).
Saturday's matches will be determined by Friday's play at both locations. Matches on Saturday will be played at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The invitational schedule and results can be found here

Jonathan Aremon leads the Pack with a 4-1 mark in the spring having played on courts 3 through 5.
Daniel Dudockin is 3-1 seeing action at No. 5 and 6 singles.
Julien Evrard is 3-2 at No. 1 singles.
Jeremy Merville and
Gvidas Motuzas are both 2-1 on the season.
In doubles play the No. 1 team of Evrard and
Kostya Nesterenko have posted a 3-1 record. Aremon has teamed with Merville to go 2-0 earning a win at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
