LAS VEGAS - Axel Huysmans advanced to the second round of the singles draw at ITA Mountain Regionals in Las Vegas Thursday.

Huysmans picked up the lone Wolf Pack win of the day, that coming in the first round of singles. Huysmans defeated New Mexico's Holland Snell, 7-6 (3), 6-1 to advance to Friday's second round where he will take on Boise State's Filip Soderqvist.

In a tough day for the Pack, all four doubles tandems fell in the second round. Among the quartet, the tandem of Rémy Trégourès and Nicolas Recoura went to a tiebreaker before falling, 8-7 (5).
