RENO, Nev. – The 26-3 University of Nevada men's basketball team is ranked 17th in the Associated Press poll and 18th in the USA Today Coaches poll released today. The Wolf Pack has appeared in the last 23 polls dating back to last season and in the top 20 ever week this season. Nevada was 12th in AP poll last week and 13th in the USA Today Coaches poll.
The Pack's highest ranking of the season was fifth on Nov. 26 in the AP poll and fifth on Dec. 31 in the USA Today Coaches poll. Both are the highest rankings in school history.
Nevada (26-3, 13-3 MW) plays at Air Force (13-15, 8-8 MW) on Tuesday at 8 p.m. PT on ESPN2. The game can be heard on 94.5 FM in northern Nevada and online at NevadaWolfPack.com/audio with John Ramey on the call.
