RENO, Nev. – The Nevada women's track and field team heads to the Bay Area this weekend for the Stanford Invitational and San Francisco State Distance Carnival. Several distance runners will be representing the Wolf Pack in the Bay Area.
On Friday the 29th, senior
Lindsey Sickler opens things up for the Pack with the 3,000m steeplechase at 5:14 p.m. PT. Later that evening, sophomore
Morgin Coonfield will be running in the 10,000m beginning at 9:07 p.m. PT.
On Saturday the 30th, the Pack will have two runners participating in the San Francisco State Distance Carnival. Sophomores
Lauryn Massic and
Hiley Dobbs will race in the 10,000m, which begins at 6:55 p.m. PT.
Last season, Coonfield set a personal record in the 10,000m at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival with a time of 34:45.86 in a second-place finish.
Two weeks ago, Dobbs set a personal record in the 1,500m with a time of 4:41.98 at Sacramento State's Hornet Invitational. Coonfield, Sickler and Massic will all be making their outdoor season debuts this weekend.
