BERKELEY, Calif.  – The University of Nevada (6-6) men's tennis team fell 4-0 at No. 43 Cal (8-7) on Sunday at the Hellman Tennis Complex.  The Wolf Pack fell to 6-6 on the season while the Golden Bears improved to 8-7.
 
Nevada returns home to play its next three matches at the McArthur Tennis Center.  Thursday the Pack hosts Sacramento State (5-8) at 1 p.m.  Saturday is the first Mountain West match of the season for the Wolf Pack as Air Force (9-7, 0-1 MW) comes to town for a 2 p.m. match.  Sunday's MW match with New Mexico (4-6) is scheduled for 12 p.m.
 
Cal won the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and 3 doubles by scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
 
In singles play Cal's Ben Draper defeated Nevada's Jonathan Aremon 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 4 singles match and it was 2-0.  Jack Molly won in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 over the Pack's Julien Evrard on Court 1 to get Cal within a point of the win.  The clinching match came on Court 6 where Dominic Barretto defeated Nevada's Gvidas Motuzas 6-1, 7-5 to clinch the win for Cal.
