SAN LOUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The University of Nevada (6-5) women's tennis team lost a hard fought 4-3 match to Cal State Northridge (10-3) at the Mustang Tennis Center on the Cal Poly campus on Friday.  The loss dropped the Wolf Pack to 6-5 on the season while the Matadors improved to 10-3.  Nevada will play at Cal Poly (5-6) on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT.
  
CSUN earned the doubles point winning the on courts 1 and 2.  Nevada's Selina Turulja and Maria Tatarnikova earned a 6-1 victory in the No. 3 doubles match.
 
With the match tied a 3-3 it came down to the No. 4 singles and it took three sets to decide the outcome.  Tatarnikova won the first set 6-4 but CSUN's Skyla Alcon won the next to sets 7-5 and 7-5 to secure the win for the Matadors.
 
All six singles matches went three sets.  Gergelyova on court 1, Roos vanReek at No. 3 singles and Turulja at No. 6 singles earned victories for the Wolf Pack.
