Doubs, a play-making sophomore wide receiver, won the Golden Helmet on offense after catching 44 balls for 649 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games this season. On defense, Sewell and Brown shared the award. Sewell led all the linebackers with 52 tackles on the year and second on the team in tackles for loss with 5.5. Brown was amongst the conference's leaders with four interceptions this year.

Sophomore defensive lineman Dom Peterson was the team's Outstanding Defensive Player after leading the team with 13.5 TFLs and 8.5 sacks. Freshman kicker Brandon Talton, who burst on the scene with a 56-yard game-winner against Purdue and also nailed a game-winner against San Jose State, was the Outstanding Special Teams Player.

Sophomore defensive back Jordan Lee and redshirt freshman quarterback Carson Strong were named the team's newcomers of the year. Junior offensive lineman Nate Brown was the team's Basalite Big Blocker of the Year. Reagan Roberson, Daniel Grzesiak and Kyle Adams earned the team's Hustle Awards.
