NEVADA
SENIOR (2019) – Although his season was cut short due to injury, still hauled in 28 receptions for 292 yards which each ranked fourth on the team … Earned one of the Wolf Pack’s Captain Awards … His 10.43 yards-per-catch ranked as the third-best on the team … Caught a pass in all 10 games he played this season … Had a season-high six catches against Purdue, and a season-best 77 yards on five receptions against Weber State … Had a season-long 30-yard reception at San Diego State.

JUNIOR (2018) – Returning from a season-ending injury in 2017, led the Wolf Pack with 70 receptions and compiled 10.5 yards per catch … Awarded the team’s Offensive Hustle Award … Started six games and caught a pass in all 13 … Caught a career-high 15 passes for 147 yards at Toledo, the most in a game by anyone in the conference in 2018 … Recorded his career-long reception against Portland State that went for 34 yards … Scored one touchdown on the season on a 28-yard reception against Colorado State … After the regular season, ranked 33rd in the FBS averaging 5.8 receptions per game … In conference play, his 5.12 receptions per game ranked tied for sixth in the Mountain West … Made one reception for nine yards in the 2018 Arizona Bowl victory.
 
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2017) – Suffered a season-ending leg injury in the opener at Northwestern … Before being injured, caught four balls for 36 yards and recorded two kick returns … Also became a member of the Nevada baseball team … Earned All-Mountain West academic honors … Received a medical redshirt.
 
PRIOR TO NEVADA – Played two seasons at Washington State where he saw time in 24 games … Returned kicks and punts during his sophomore season … Had 17 punt returns for 155 yards including one 75-yard touchdown … Fourth in Pac-12 with 9.1 return average … Earned Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week … Had two punt returns against Minnesota in the Holiday Bowl … Member of the 2016 Sun Bowl Championship team.
 
HIGH SCHOOL - Attended Serra High School and El Toro High School … Graduated from El Toro HS in Lake Forest, Calif. … Lettered in football three years under coach Robert Frith … Team captain both junior and senior season … As a senior, named first team all-county, first team All-CIF, MVP of the South Coast League and Team MVP … Presented the Jeff Stenstrom Memorial Award and was an Athlete with Character Honoree from OCADA … Also lettered two years in baseball … Team captain as a freshman, junior and senior.
 
PERSONAL - Son of Scott and Nicole Fossum … Has a younger sister, Malea, and a younger brother, Truth … His family has a strong background in athletics: uncle, Kevin Sears, played baseball at Arizona and for the Montreal Expos in the MLB; uncle, Tom Lloyd, played tennis at Arizona and is the head coach at LMU; aunt, Samantha Sears, played soccer at Arizona; aunt, Liz Lloyd, played soccer at Arizona; cousin, Logan Bartlett, played football at Arizona; uncle, Scott Tinsley, played football at USC and for the Philadelphia Eagle and the Los Angeles Rams … Majoring in management … Chose Nevada because he wanted to help turn the football program around and graduate from a great university … Lists Julian Edelman and Ryan Switzer as his sports heroes … The most memorable moment of his career was scoring a touchdown against Cal while at Washington State in 2016 … Enjoys working out, doing MMA and Ju Jit-su and DJ-ing in his free time.
