Jalen Harris has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week after helping Nevada win the 2019 Paradise Jam. Harris was selected as the MVP of the Paradise Jam and was also the game MVP in each of the Pack's three games in the event.
Harris scored 20 or more points in each game and posted games high highs with 22 vs. Fordham and 25 vs. Valparaiso. In the championship game with Bowling Green he scored 20 points and dished out a game-high seven assists.
In the three games he averaged 22.3 points, six rebounds and 6.3 assists. He had 19 assists and just three turnovers.
Four times he has scored 20 or more points this season and is second on the squad averaging 16.1 points per game. The 16.1 points per game is sixth in the MW. His 6.1 rebounds per game tops the team and his 4.3 assists is tied with
Lindsey Drew for first.
