RENO, Nev. - The Nevada swimming and diving team, coming off back-to-back dual meet wins over Fresno State and UC Davis last weekend, is welcoming Boise State to Lombardi Pool on Saturday, Nov. 2. The meet is set to begin at 11 am with the traditional 16-event format including the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

Laura Isabel Vazquez Lopez swept the Mountain West honors following their performances in the dual meets. Samula won all four individual events along with being a member of the winning relay while Lopez took first in the 3-meter at both meets.
Boise State did not compete last week but are 3-1 in dual meets with a Mountain West win over Wyoming but a loss to San Diego State. Nevada took down San Diego State in an invitational setting already this season at Washington State.
The Pack and Broncos met last year in a dual format in Boise, Idaho when Nevada fell in a close one, 165-135. Later in the season, the two met at the 2019 Mountain West Championships where the Wolf Pack outscored the Broncos, 1,261.50 to 1,159. Nevada finished second overall and Boise State took third.
Following this dual, Nevada travels back to Houston for the second year in a row for the Phill Hansel Invitational. The meet begins on Nov. 21 and concludes on Nov. 23. After the invitational, the Pack has one more meet before a three week break.
