RENO, Nev. - The Nevada volleyball team moves to 7-5 on the season after falling to the (RV) Colorado State Rams in four sets. The Pack won the first set, 25-18 but CSU claimed the next three, 25-19, 25-23 and 25-19.

Junior outside hitters Jamila Minor and Camryn Rocha each tallied a team-high 11 kills with Minor collecting a double-double in her efforts, also being responsible for 11 digs. Junior setter, Dalyn Burns set a new career high in kills with her seven in the match, two more than her previous high.

In the first set the Pack took a commanding presence on the court offensively and defensively, hitting a .464 and holding Colorado State to .303. Nevada led for almost the entire first set despite the four ties. Burns had four of her seven kills in the first set and her fourth was the final point to win, 25-18.

The Colorado State defense came alive in the second set putting up three blocks and holding the Nevada offense to just 11 kills. The Pack fought back in the third making it interesting towards the end when sophomore Kayla Afoa had an ace and a kill back-to-back to take the lead 23-22 but the Rams claimed the final two points and took set three to go up 2-1.

In the fourth and final set, the Rams had taken a 14-8 lead but the Pack climbed back into it late on a kill from sophomore Kassie McGill, 22-19, but again Colorado State sealed the set and the match with two kills and an ace.
