LAS VEGAS – The Nevada softball team completed its season with a 5-0 loss to intrastate rival UNLV in the Postseason NISC regional semifinal on Friday. The Wolf Pack concluded its 2018 campaign with a 27-27 record, marking the third consecutive season that Nevada has posted a record of .500 or better.

Erika Hansen registered a single. With nine runners left on base in the game, Nevada found itself in scoring opportunities but struggled to come up with the big hits.
Along with its 27-27 overall season record, the Wolf Pack posted a 12-12 mark in league play, which is the second-most victories Nevada has had in conference play since joining the Mountain West. Despite having four players leave the program due to graduation, the Wolf Pack will return three All-Conference players in 2019 as well as a plethora of talented student-athletes that will contend for viable playing time.
