Biography

2021 (Jr.) – Made 19 appearances with five starts … picked up her first win of the season against No. 2 Washington, tossing two innings, striking out two and allowing zero runs … amassed a 3-3 record with a save against Boise State … gave up zero runs in eight appearances … powered Nevada to a series sweep over UNLV, tallying a win over the Rebels in game three, tossing 5.2 innings with seven strikeouts and giving up four runs on six hits … only gave up 10 extra base hits all season … named Nevada Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.

2020 (Jr. *Season shorted due to COVID-19) Primarily served as a relief pitcher, making 11 appearances in the circle for the Pack … Made one start on the season, against CSU Bakersfield and recorded a season high four strikeouts … Pitched a season high of 4.2 innings pitched against Hawai`i … Finished the year with 24.2 innings pitched overall with 14 strikeouts and a 4.26 ERA … Along with her pitching, she made three plate appearances on the season and had one start as a designated player against Stanford...Named to the 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District Team before earning 2020 CoSIDA Academic Third Team All-American honors. 

2019 (So.) – Made 23 appearances with 12 starts in her sophomore campaign … Pitched 77.2 innings with 77 strikeouts, ranking third on the staff … Had a season high 15 strikeouts against New Mexico when the Pack beat the Lobos 11-6 … Tossed a complete game shutout over Saint Mary’s, only allowing four hits along with seven strikeouts … Recorded two combined shutouts against Cal State Fullerton and Northern Kentucky in back-to-back games with 11 strikeouts on the weekend … Named Academic All-Conference and a Scholar Athlete … Received the Nevada Give Back Like Jack Community Award … Letter winner.

2018 (Fr.) – Began her Wolf Pack career tossing a gem against Louisiana Tech, where she threw a complete game and allowed one run to help Nevada earn the win over a preseason team that was receiving votes … Ranked among the nation’s best as her 151 strikeouts on the year was 91st in the country and fifth-best in the conference … Recorded a three-game stretch from Feb. 24-25 where she went 2-0 with a 0.42 ERA, while striking out 16 batters and earning the first save of her career in the process … Put together a bid for a perfect game in Nevada’s first contest of the season against Seattle U, where she retired the first 12 batters she faced and finished the game allowing just one hit … Threw a career-high 9.1 innings in the opening game of conference play … Helped Nevada win the series-opener against Utah State, throwing an eight inning, complete game, having struck out 12 batters in the process … Tossed a complete game victory over Utah Valley, where she threw just 78 pitches and surrendered four hits … Struck out a career-high 14 batters in the Pack’s first matchup of the season against Utah Valley, which marked the second-most strikeouts in a seven inning game in program history … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letter winner.

HIGH SCHOOL – Named the 2015 and 2017 Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year ... Holds Nevada state records for single season wins (34) and career wins (100) … Also ranks third in Nevada state history for career strikeouts (1,140) and strikeouts in a single game (21), as well as second in the state’s history for strikeouts in a single season (386) … Won the Nevada state championships in 2015 … Recorded a 0.94 ERA with 386 strikeouts, 11 home runs and a .438 batting average in her senior season … Batted .477 with 43 RBIs and 13 doubles, while going 34-2 with a 0.80 ERA and 346 strikeouts in 211 innings during her 2015 campaign … A Flo Softball first team All-American in 2015 and 2017 … Awarded first team All-State honors from 2015-17 … USA Today's Nevada softball Player of the Year for the 2015 season … Graduated high school with a 5.40 GPA and an AP Scholars Award.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Mark and Charlena Jensen … Has one younger sister, Alicia … Chose Nevada because “I grew up in Northern Nevada, so I knew that the community’s support for Wolf Pack athletics was special, and I wanted to play for a team that I love to watch growing up.” … Also recruited by Cal Poly, Pacific and Santa Clara … Lists Serena Williams as her sports hero and winning the state championships in 2015 with her high school team as the most memorable moment of her career … Enjoys going to Lake Tahoe, hiking with her dogs and spending time with her friends and grandparents … Is majoring in neuroscience ... In 2018 became the community service rep for SAAC and in 2019 was appointed as the SAAC President along with being named the Nevada Athletic Representative in the Mountain West Conference.
