No. 5 Nevada makes first of two consecutive trips to Los Angeles to play at USC
• Winners of seven in a row to start the season for the second year in a row, the Wolf Pack plays at USC in the first of two consecutive trips to face Pac-12 opponents in Los Angeles.  The Pack's next game is Arizona State at the STAPLES Center in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
• The Pack is currently fifth in the AP poll and sixth in the USA Today Coaches poll.  
• Nevada went 3-0 in its first trip away from Lawlor Events Center defeating Tulsa and UMass in neutral site games.  The Pack followed that with a road win at Loyola Chicago.
• Caleb Martin is Nevada's first preseason All-America selection being named to the AP and ESPN teams.
• Jordan Caroline is averaging near a double-double scoring 17.7 points and grabbing 9.9 rebounds per game.  Caroline has five double-doubles in seven games this season and 32 in his career that is tied for fourth in school history.  The Pack is 30-2 when he posts a double-double.  His four game double-double streak ended at Loyola Chicago.
• Caleb Martin leads the team averaging 21 points per game despite not scoring a point in the first half of the BYU and Pacific games.  Of his 147 points 103 have come in the second half, 70%.
• A veteran group, Nevada starts five redshirt seniors in Caroline, Caleb Martin, Cody Martin, Tre'Shawn Thurman and Trey Porter.  A sixth Corey Henson comes off the bench.
• Caleb Martin (21 pts) and Cody Martin (20) points scored 41 of the Pack's 79 in the win at Loyola Chicago.
• In four games this season the Pack has had five players score in double figures with one being six in the victory over California Baptist.
