RENO, Nev. (AP) Trey Porter thinks his adrenaline got the best of him during the first three games of the season.
''I'm a diabetic, so I got my blood sugar up a little bit,'' said Porter, who transferred to Nevada this season from Old Dominion. ''It makes me kind of cranky. ... I was able to control my blood sugar (tonight). It definitely helped me out.''
Porter scored 14 points, matching his season total coming into the game, and added nine rebounds as No. 6 Nevada beat California Baptist 90-55 on Monday night to give coach Eric Musselman a victory on his birthday.
Six players scored in double figures for the Wolf Pack (4-0). Jordan Brown had 16 points, Caleb Martin added 14, Jazz Johnson 11, Jordan Caroline 10 and Tre'Shawn Thurman 10.
Nevada outrebounded the Lancers 47-31 and outscored them 40-24 in the paint.
Milan Acquaah, a Washington State transfer who started nine games for the Cougars last season, had 12 points for Cal Baptist. Jordan Heading also scored 12.
Cal Baptist (2-2) grabbed a 14-11 lead with 11:34 left in the first half, but Nevada answered with a 31-10 run to enter the break up 42-24.
''The first 12 minutes we were stagnant,'' Musselman said. ''We're not going to be able to play that way and win with the schedule that we have coming up.''
Porter, a graduate transfer, averaged 13 points and six rebounds for the Monarchs in 2017-18, but foul trouble had limited him at Nevada.
''I was glad to get a sweat on today,'' he said.
Nevada outscored Cal Baptist 27-11 at the free throw line, as four Lancers fouled out. Nevada has made more free throws (90) than its opponents have attempted (67) this season.
Caroline notched his 30th career double-double and ranks sixth in Nevada history.

Cal Baptist: The Lancers, with one senior on the roster versus the Wolf Pack's eight, faced a tough task on the road against the No. 6 team in the nation in its fourth game as a Division I school.
Nevada: After receiving the highest ranking in school history to start a season, the Wolf Pack finished their four-game homestand undefeated, beating opponents by an average of 24 points per game. ''We won by large margins,'' Musselman said. ''We didn't mess around.''
NEVADA HITS THE ROAD
After playing its first four games in front of an average attendance of 10,330, the Wolf Pack begin a six-game road trip and don't return to Lawlor Events Center until hosting South Dakota State on Dec. 15.
BIRTHDAY PRESENT
Musselman turned 54 on Monday. ''I texted him this morning,'' Johnson said. ''I told him we were going to get you a win for your birthday. And we got it for him. So, happy birthday, Muss.''
COMMON GROUND
Cal Baptist played its fourth game as a member of the Western Athletic Conference. The Lancers joined the WAC this season. Nevada played in the WAC from 2000-12 before joining the Mountain West Conference.

No. 6 Nevada improved to 4-0 after is 90-55 victory over California Baptist (2-2) tonight at Lawlor Events Center before 9,395 fans.
The Wolf Pack plays Tulsa on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational at 1 p.m at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The game will air on Fox Sports 1. Tonight's game was also part of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Holiday Invitational.
Head coach Eric Musselman celebrated his 54th birthday with his 85th win at Nevada. Musselman is 85-29 leading the Pack, 25-0 in nonconference home games and 47-5 overall at LEC.
After playing its first four games of the season at home Nevada will play its next six games away from LEC.
Nevada put six players in double figures for the first time since Jan. 31, 2018 at home versus Fresno State. Jordan Brown (16), Trey Porter (14), Caleb Martin (14), Jazz Johnson (11), Tre'Shawn Thurman (10) and Jordan Caroline (10) all scored in double figures tonight.
In the last three games the Pack has had at least five players score in double figures.
Caroline posted his third double-double of the season and second in a row after adding a game high 10 rebounds to go along with his 10 points tonight. It was his 30th career double-double at Nevada which is tied for fifth most at Nevada with Greg Palm (1980-82). The Pack is 28-2 when he records a double-double.
Junior Jazz Johnson has scored in double figures in all four games this season and made three 3-pointers in each game.
Nevada scored a season-high 90 points and the 35-point victory is the largest of the season.
The Pack has won all four games by double figures this year.
