HIGH SCHOOL
The five star recruit played his senior season at Prolific Prep in Napa, Calif. where he averaged 23.5 points and 13.1 rebounds per game ... In three seasons at Woodcreek High Schools in Roseville, Calif. he averaged 25.3 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game ...  A double-double machine Brown averaged 22.7 points and 10.5 rebounds his freshman year, 26.7 and 15 rebounds as a sophomore and capped that with 26.3 points and 15.8 points per game in his junior season ...  Playing in the McDonald’s All-Star Game he scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the West squad making 13-of-19 shots  ...  The 26 points were the third most by a California player in the history of the game  ...  Only future NBA star Paul Pierce (28 in 1995) and John Williams (27 in 1984) produced better point totals  ...  Brown was a MaxPreps All-America second team selection, USA Today All-USA California first-team honoree, first-team all-state, and Sacramento Bee All-Metro Player of the Year his junior year  ...  In 2016 he was a MaxPreps sophomore All-America first team selection, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Elite Boys Basketball second team pick, conference player of the year and first-team by the Sacramento Bee  ...  His honors his freshman season included MaxPreps Freshman Five, Nor Cal Conference Player of the Year, All-Nor Call and Cal-Hi Sports California Freshman of the Year  ...  Several recruiting services had the five star recruit among the elite players with Rivals.com ranking him 11th, 247Sports put him at 17th and ESPN placed had him 31st  ...  Playing for the U16 FIBA Americas team he averaged 9.4 points and 4.4 rebounds that captured a gold medal  ...  As a member of the U17 World Championship team he averaged 5.9 points and 4.9 rebounds that also won gold.
