Nevada drops exhibition contest to Washington

Caroline scores 21 points

RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada men's basketball team lost an exhibition contest 91-73 to Washington on Sunday afternoon at Lawlor Events Center.  The Wolf Pack will next play San Francisco State on Friday at the Virginia Street Gym at 7 p.m.
 
Nevada held a one-point advantage 40-39 at halftime but the Huskies outscored the Pack 52-33 in the second half to win the contest before 4,069 fans at LEC.
 
Jordan Caroline led the Pack with 21 points and tied teammate Jordan Brown for game-high honors with eight rebounds.  Caroline connected on 10-of-15 free throws. 
 
Cody Martin had 11 points and four assists while twin brother Caleb Martin added 10 points. In his first collegiate game Brown scored 10 points and had the eight rebounds.
 
Jaylen Nowell led four UW players in double figures with 26 points and tied for team honors with six rebounds.
