Nevada returns to Lawlor to host Fresno State Wednesday night at 8 p.m.

Pack to help kickoff American Heart Month


NEVADA BACK AT LAWLOR WEDNESDAY TO HOST FRESNO STATE at 8 p.m.
• After dropping its first Mountain West game, Nevada (18-4, 7-1 MW) looks to extend its 15-game home win streak against Fresno State (15-6, 5-4 MW) on Wednesday night. 
• The 15-game home win streak is the third longest in school history.  
• FS is the last team to win at Lawlor Events Center, 81-76 on Jan. 21, 2017.
• Nevada is atop the MW standings at 7-1 
• The Pack has won its last nine MW home games and 12 of its last 13.
• Of the Pack's 1,817 points this season 61.3 (1,114-of-1,817) percent is from first year players.  
• The Martin twins, Caleb (19.6) and Cody (13.5) combine to average 32.5 points per game which is 39.4 percent of the Pack's points.
Kendall Stephens made a career-high seven 3-pointers  in the win at Air Force which is tied for the high in the MW this season.  In eight games this season he has made five or more 3-pointers.  His 11-game streak of scoring in double figures ended at Wyoming.
Jordan Caroline scored a Pack season-high 29 points at Wyoming.  Caroline posted his eighth double-double of the season with 22 points and 13 rebounds vs. Boise State.  The Pack is 21-1 when Caroline has a double-double.
• Nevada has had a 20-point scorer in 19-of-22 games and a Pack player scored 19 in the other three games.  In 11 games two Wolf Pack players scored 20 or more points.
• Nevada's RPI sits at 15 with a strength of schedule of 50 and opponent strength of schedule of 71.

Nevada partnering with American Heart Association to kickoff American Heart Month of February
    The University of Nevada Athletics Department is partnering with the American Heart Association to kickoff American Heart Month.  February is designated American Heart Month to raise awareness of America's and Nevada's number one killer – heart disease. Heart disease is also the leading cause of death for women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year and killing approximately one women every 80 seconds. Join the American Heart Association of Northern Nevada to learn about the upcoming events celebrating American Heart Month.
    The Pack will wear a specially designed shooting shirt in pregame on Wednesday and the first 350 students will receive a shirt as they enter the Fresno State game.  The Wolf Pack coaching staff will also wear a special polo shirt for the game.
