What to know before you go

RENO, Nev. – The new era of Nevada Wolf Pack football opens the 2017 Mackay Stadium schedule on Saturday when the Wolf Pack plays host to MAC-power Toledo. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. and the game is not television but a digital broadcast is available on ESPN3.

Season tickets, as well as single-game tickets and mini-plans are still available. Go online to NevadaWolfPack.com or call (775) 348-PACK. You can also visit our ticket office at Legacy Hall, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. On gamedays, the Lawlor ticket office and Legacy Hall will-call office will be open three hours before kickoff, and the northwest ticket office will open two hours before kickoff.

The best deal is still season tickets, which start as low as $99 for six great home games. There are great seats available in all seating areas at Mackay, from the Zonies section in the south end zone to the club seating on the west side. That's as low as just $16.50 per game for six great games in the new era of Nevada football. Single-game tickets are $19. Discounts available for children, seniors and groups.

Nevada offers permit and free parking throughout campus on gamedays and a parking map is available at NevadaWolfPack.com. Gameday lots open four hours before kickoff.

The Wolf Pack's Mackay Stadium Gameday Guide comes with complete information about parking, tickets, tailgating, concessions and more.

Fans are encouraged to also use RTC's Sierra Spirit bus as a transportation option on gamedays. The Sierra Spirit provides bus rides for fans for just 25 cents to and from downtown Reno along North Virginia Street before and after football games. Service runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on game-day Saturdays and does have extended hours for night games.

Weather forecasts call for a great day on Saturday with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the high 70s at kickoff.

Pregame festivities on Saturday include the Wolf Pack welcoming back Hall of Fame coach Chris Ault as the team's honorary captain, and a flyover featuring two Navy Nighthawk helicopters out of the Fallon Naval Air Station.
