Day Two Results 
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - The Nevada women's golf team remained steady in sixth place following day two of the Mountain West Championship from Mission Hills Country Club.
The Wolf Pack combined for a team score of 305 on Tuesday and sit at 33-over par for the tournament. The Pack leads Wyoming for sixth place by one stroke and trails Fresno State and New Mexico for fourth by 18 shots. UNLV took over the team lead in the second round after posting one of the best team scores of the day at 290. The Rebels, who sit at 1-over for the tournament, will take a one shot lead over San Diego State into Wednesday's final round.
Individually on day two the Wolf Pack struggled to put low numbers on its scorecard. Freshman Mari Nishiura and junior Celyn Khoo posted the low Pack rounds of the day as they each carded rounds of 75. Nishiura is the highest ranking Nevada player in the 45-player field as she currently sits inside the top 15. Khoo showed vast improvement from the opening round to the second, shaving eight shots off her first round score. She jumped eight spots on Tuesday into a tie for 36th.
Junior Jordan Keyser also made moves up the leaderboard on Tuesday after she fired her best round of the event with a 76. Keyser jumped seven positions and is tied for 33rd after 36 holes. Freshman Katy Rutherford struggled to find any red numbers during her second round and finished with a 79. She is tied for 26th heading into the final round. Sophomore Kaitlin Collom also struggled on Tuesday, shooting an 83 to fall back to a tie for 36th.
Manon Molle of New Mexico remains the individual leader after 36 holes and extended her lead to three shots. Molle leads over My Leander of San Jose State and Fernanda Escauriza of San Diego State. There are just six players in the field currently under par.
