Final Results Get Acrobat Reader

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The final round of the Sacramento State Invitational was canceled Tuesday morning after heavy rain.

The event became official using Monday's two rounds of play, giving the Nevada women's golf team a third place finish. The Wolf Pack finished two shots behind tournament winner Sacramento State and one shot behind runner-up Princeton. Nevada's two-round team score totaled 600 after rounds of 305 and 295 on Monday.

Nevada notched six of eight finishers in the top 30, including four top 10 finishes. Freshman Mari Nishiura and junior Celyn Khoo both earned a tie for seventh place to pace the Pack. Sophomores Kaitlin Collom and Chaithra Katamneni tied for 10th place at 6-over par. Junior Jordan Keyser tied for 15th while freshman Jenny Krause earned a tie for 24th. Senior Bertille DuPont finished in tie for 34th and freshman Katy Rutherford was Nevada's last finisher in a tie for 41st.

Nevada will play in one more tournament before the Mountain West Championships, April 6-7 at the Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Ariz.
