Box Score SALT LAKE CITY – Senior Peter O'Donovan and freshman Jeremy Merville were winners of the Flight C doubles group and junior Jonathan Aremon and freshman Dylan Levitt secured their victory in the Flight D group at the Utah Intercollegiate. The winner of each flight was determined based on their winning percentage after the three days of the tournament.
This is the second tournament in a row that O'Donovan has won the doubles bracket he was placed in. The senior and Merville finished the tournament 2-1 as a tandem, defeating teams from Utah and Utah State.
Junior Jonathan Aremon and freshman Dylan Levitt were named the winners of Flight D after going 2-0 over the weekend. The Wolf Pack tandem took down Felipe Acosta and Aditya Vashistha of Utah State 6-2, and Weber State's Nick Werner and Bo-Han Li by a score of 7-5.
The Pack had a good run in Salt Lake City when it came to the singles flights. Merville led the way with four singles victories in Flight B, with Aremon and Levitt right behind with three in Flights C and D.
Sophomore Kostya Nesterenko earned his first singles win of the tournament defeating Utah State's Sergiu Bucur 6-2, 6-1 in Flight A. Senior Robert Margitfalvi also earned one of his victories on the final day of the tournament, taking down Bucur 4-6, 6-2 and 6-2.
