PROVO, Utah – The Nevada men's tennis team continued its doubles dominance this fall, with three of its four duos winning in the opening round of 64 at the ITA Regionals. The Wolf Pack is now an impressive 18-7 in doubles matches as a team this season.
The senior tandem of Peter O'Donovan and Robert Margitfalvi improved their doubles record this season to 5-0 after defeating Remus Cope and Guy Feigin from Southern Utah University 8-7. Nevada's two freshmen Jeremy Merville and Dylan Levitt also got a victory, taking down Artsiom Ausiyevich and Victor Brown from BYU 8-6. Sophomores Kostya Nesterenko and Julien Evrard paired up for the first time this fall and were victorious over Idaho State's Adam Hornby and Keegan Sullivan by a score of 8-3.
No member of the Wolf Pack won in the opening round of 128 in the singles bracket, but all eight will compete in the consolation round starting tomorrow.
