BOISE, Idaho - Returning to action after a come-from-behind victory over Fresno State for its first Mountain West win of the season, the Nevada volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Boise State on Thursday evening.


Freshman Madison Foley recorded a double-double for the third time in four matches for the Wolf Pack (4-10, 1-3 MW).

After back-and-fourth action between the two squads early in the first set, the Broncos built a comfortable 20-15 lead, forcing the Pack to call a timeout. Nevada then scored four of the next six points in the frame to cut the lead to 22-19 after kills from Foley and sophomore Lyndsey Anderson. Back-to-back kills from Foley and senior Tessa Lea'ea made it 22-21 but Boise State would prevail by tallying the next three points to take the first set.

The Broncos would push its lead to 2-0 after claiming the second set, 25-16, a before winning the third set, 25-21, and the match.

The Pack will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. when Nevada travels to Utah State.
