Wiktoria Samula, a sophomore member of the women's swim and dive team, was named the Wolf Pack Athlete of the Week following her performance in the dual meets against Fresno State and UC Davis.

The Lublin, Poland native swept her individual events on both days, winning the 100 and 200 breaststroke and being a member of the winning 200 medley relay against UC Davis. Samula won the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.05 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.84 against Fresno State, helping the Pack win 179-102. 

Samula claimed the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.96 and the 200 breast in 2:16.89 against UC Davis while swimming the third leg of the 200 medley relay that finished in 1:43.26. Her two individual wins and the relay win pushed Nevada over UC Davis, 190-106 on Saturday afternoon.
