Senior right-handed pitcher Kali Sargent has been named the Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the week after her performances against UNLV. The Minden, Nev. native helped the Pack take one of the three games against the Rebels after pitching a complete game shutout on Saturday. 

In her two appearances, went 1-1 with both being complete games pitched and recorded 12 strikeouts with eight in the Sunday contest. Along with her 12 strikeouts she held the Rebels to a .182 batting average and only allowed three runs in the series bringing her weekend ERA to a 1.75. The Saturday contest she pitched a one-hit complete game shutout in her five inning, run-rule victory over UNLV. 

The senior currently leads the Mountain West in strikeout-to-walk ratio with four strikeouts per single walk drawn. She is also one of eight pitchers in the NCAA to have only hit one batter in her 89 innings pitched and 23 appearances, that also leads the Mountain West. The staff also leads the conference in strikeouts with 277.
