Laura Isabel Vazquez Lopez, a freshman member of the women's dive team, was named the Wolf Pack Athlete of the Week following her performance at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships last Monday. 

The Guadalajara, Mexico native qualified for the NCAA Championships with a sixth place finish. Automatic bids were given to the top eight finishers. Lopez had 296.15 points and sat in seventh heading into finals where she finished with 614.40 points overall. 

Lopez will represent the Mountain West at NCAA's, as she is the lone qualifier from conference in the 3-meter event. The national championship meet will take place in Austin, Texas and are set for March 20-23.
