Cole Turner named Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the Week

RENO, Nev. – Nevada football tight end Cole Turner has been named Wolf Pack Student-Athlete of the week.

Turner made 12 catches for a career-high 175 yards during the 34-17 win against Hawai’i on Homecoming, including a season-long 28-yard reception. It was the most receiving yards for a pass-catcher this season and the most yards for a Nevada tight-end in recent history.

The senior from Clackamas, Oregon, also blocked the first punt of his career. 

He was named Reese’s Senior Bowl offensive Player of the Week.

Turner leads the Wolf Pack in receiving yards (403) and touchdowns (4) this season.
